Cycling from Rochdale the route goes through Whitworth, Rawtenstall, Haslingden, over the Grane Rd., Edgeworth, Chapel Town and  Belmont to the Chapel Tea Rooms at Rivington for Lunch. From there, through Wheelton, Brinscall, Withnall, Tockholes, Lower Darwen, Hoddlesden, Haslingden and back the way we came to Rochdale. As you can see, it is truly an ‘Epic’ – about 75 miles. There is however, the option of going by car to the Grane Rd. and meeting up there which cuts quite a few miles off.
