Cycling from Rochdale the route goes through Saddleworth and over the Isle of Skye road into ‘Last of The Summer Wine’ country for a lunch stop at Holmfirth. From there the route goes through Neterthong, Meltham through the Stanage Cutting and back via Delph and Denshaw. There are other ways back, one easier and the other one harder. The route described is about 50 miles.
