Welcome to the TRANS PENNINE CYCLING CLUB Website
The Trans Pennine Cycling Club (TPCC) caters for riders from Rochdale and the surrounding area. We are a small, friendly and welcoming club and the focus is on enjoying our cycling on great cycling routes in one of the most beautiful areas of the country . We are not a racing club and welcome anyone, whether new to cycling or returning to it, with the emphasis on leisure!
Our rides take place each Sunday and usually start from “The Range”, Kingsway Retail Park, Rochdale, OL16 5AF (junction Milnrow Rd/Kingsway) at 9.30am (check this website for any occasional changes). Fellow cyclists always welcome, we are always pleased to hear from anyone who would like to try riding with us. Telephone Eric Hough on 07875 719256 or just turn up and see if this is the cycling club for you. No obligation or commitment.
Whilst we are predominantly a Road Cycling Club, Off-road and trail riding is also catered for, with our regular Wednesday evening MTB rides of about 2hours duration with a visit to a pub (optional!) for a pint, a chat and a laugh at the end of the ride.
Members regularly take part in Audax and regional rides such as the Manchester 100. The club also has a popular social events diary which includes an Xmas lunch and Xmas Tinsel ride, BBQs, weekends away, cycle tours eg Lands End to John O' Groats and also continental trips eg Majorca, Alps.
